My Journal Entry 6/6/10 Sunday





I stayed up organizing my Coupon Binder last night. Saddened to see so many coupons expired that I meant to use. I haven't been keeping up with it very well, and when it's not organized I don't save as much!

I got my morning started at 10:30 and had a bowl of cereal

It's Sunday, which means I made my weekly trip to the Dollar Tree to buy my papers for the coupon inserts. This week there were 3 inserts, however my area had a lot of "ad" pages in the inserts and not so many coupons!

After that, I headed to the Greenway to get my walk in. I managed 4 miles again today, took about 1 hour 15 minutes. I burned 396 calories again! I thought it was going to rain, that would have felt nice as hot as it was. But it never did. I did have an elderly lady bout 100 feet in front of me today during my walk. She was really booking it too! It was hard keeping up with her. I hope I'm that active when I'm 70+.

When I got back from my walk I dug through my freezer to figure out some lunch. I went with a Healthy Choice Meal and a side of Grapes since I skipped my snack earlier.

I think I shall take a nap before I get started on clipping all the coupons I just got today!

I took a short nap before I had to pick my daughter up from her dad.  We watched the new iCarly I dvr'd while snacking on some carrots!

After we finished catching up on the TV shows, she wanted to play with some neighborhood friends and I needed to get busy deciding what we were having for supper! Boneless Skinless Chicken breasts is the staple meat in this house and I was kind of wanting to make a healthy soup.

So I Made my own special version of a Healthy Chicken Dumpling soup, and it turned out fabulous! I can't wait to have leftovers!

I still haven't started on my coupons from today, but it is in my plans tonight before bed. I have to head in bed a bit earlier than usual because I need to make it to the bank to put some money in as soon as they open! I will list my daily totals now but will more than likely have something else before bed. I'm still feeling a little hungry and I think my calories are way below!
